Urban Transport

The University of Vigo has an agreement with the private company of Vigo, VITRASA to provide urban route buses to students with easy access to the Vigo University Campus. We do not have any agreement signed with any of the other transport bus providers currently operating with the campus, therefore the rest of the bus schedules indicated below, from Vigo, Ourense and Pontevedra are purely informational.

The Campus Lagoas-Marcosende (Shuttle buses) Lines – These are direct Express lines running to and from the University of Vigo Campus (City of Vigo).
Shuttle Bus 1 (Plaza de América-Universidad). Stops: Avda de Castrelos 14, 184, 202, University of Vigo Campus.
Departure from Plaza de América: Between 8:10hrs & 9:10hrs, every 10 minutes; between 9:10hrs & 13:40hrs, every 30 minutes; between 13:40hrs & 16:40hrs, every 15 minutes; between 16:10hrs & 19:10hrs, every 30 minutes and between 19:10hrs 20:40hrs, every 15 minutes. Departure from the University: between 8:40hrs & 9:40hrs, every 10 minutes; between 9:40hrs & 14:10hrs, every 30 minutes; between 14:10hrs & 15:40hrs, every 15 minutes; between 15:40hrs & 18:40hrs, every 30 minutes and between 18:40hrs and 21:10hrs, every 15 minutes.
Shuttle Bus 2 (Plaza de España - Universidade) Stops: Avda. Madrid 2, 106, Seminario, Xestoso, Universidade.
Departure from Plaza de España: Between 8:10hrs & 9:10hrs, every 10 minutes; between 9:10hrs & 13:40hrs, every 30 minutes; between 13:40hrs & 16:40hrs, every 15 minutes; between 16:10hrs & 19:10hrs, every 30 minutes and between 19:10hrs & 20:40hrs, every 15 minutes. Departure from the University: Between 8:40hrs & 9:40hrs, every 10 minutes; between 9:40hrs & 14:10hrs, every 30 minutes; between 14:10hrs & 15:40hrs, every 15 minutes; between 15:40hrs & 18:40hrs, every 30 minutes and between 18:40hrs & 21:10hrs, every 15 minutes.
Bus Line CUVI 1 (Balaídos - Universidad). Stops: Balaídos, Carneiras, Valadares, Garrida, Universidade. Departure from Balaídos: Run every day at 8:10hrs (Lecture days only).
Bus Line 8 (Areal-Porto-Universidade). Stops: Areal, Policarpo Sanz, Pi i Margall, López Mora, Plaza de América, Avda. Castrelos, Rotonda Pereiró, Castrelos Costa, Porto, Universidade. Departure from the University: First one at 9:05hrs, last one at 21.05hrs, one every hour (working days). Departure from Porto: First one at 6.15hrs, last one at 21.15hrs, every hour (During working days). Departure from Areal: Between 8.00hrs & 21.00hrs, every hour (During working days).
Round-trip bus- Circular 15 C (Universidad-Xestoso-Cementerio de Puxeiros-Samil). Route: Universidad, Xestoso, Puxeiros, Ramón Nieto, Urzaiz, Colón, Policarpo Sanz, Paseo de Alfonso XII, Pi i Margall, P. Industria, Tomás Alonso, Camilo Veiga, Bouzas, Avda. Atlántida, Alcabre e Samil. Departure from Samil: Between 6.50hrs & 19.50hrs, one every hour (working days only). Departure from the University: Between 9.05hrs & 21.05hrs, every hour (working days only).
 
Road Transport


There are several road transport companies that operate special bus lines specifically for students to allow them easy access from their respective cities to their study centres. Among these lines we highlight the following: Bus Line: Marín-Pontevedra-University of Vigo Campus, Bus Line: Vigo-Pontevedra Campus and Bus Line: Ourense-University of Vigo Campus.

Estuary Transport (Ría de Vigo)


Shipping Company "Ons" Ph: 986 225272. Cangas Ferry Line: Between Monday and Friday: Departure from Cangas: There is a ferry every half hour. The first one is at 6:00hrs and the last one is at 22.00hrs. Departure from Vigo: There is a ferry every half hour. The first one is at 6:30hrs and the last one is at 22:30hrs. Moaña Ferry Line: Departure from Moaña: There is a ferry every hour. The first one is at 6.00hrs and the last one is at 22hrs. Departure from Vigo: There is a ferry every hour. The first one is at 6.30hrs and the last one is at 22:30hrs. (Between 7:00hrs & 10:00hrs the departure will be every half hour, both from Vigo and Moaña).
