Within the University of Vigo, matters related to service quality fall under the Quality Area.

At the institutional level, in accordance with RD 822/2021, which regulates official university education in Spain, all degrees offered by the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences are integrated into an Internal Quality Assurance System (SGIC). These programs actively participate in degree verification, accreditation, and monitoring initiatives. The Quality Assurance Committee is responsible for overseeing the SGIC.
The central document of the system is the Quality Manual, which outlines the system’s fundamental characteristics, the requirements it addresses, its scope, and references to the underlying generic documentation and related procedures.

The monitoring of degrees at the center is carried out through Management Review Reports (MRR). These reports analyze and evaluate the center’s performance using a variety of indicators and metrics, as well as the quality objectives themselves. Through this analysis, the key strengths and weaknesses of the degree programs can be identified, enabling the formulation of improvement plans when necessary.
